Wanted : CDs

Taking a break from the make-up stuff craziness (tbh I was gonna write a post about that, but this one wins instead haha), these days I really want to buy some CDs. In Indonesia (or any other place in the world) it's very easy to download free copies but for these three, I really want to buy original ones. Let me tell you about them one by one.

Ahaha it's no secret I really enjoy listening to Taylor Swift (and singin along with them, shhhh... :P) I've listened to the original Fearless copy and I can put it on repeat on and on, all the 13 tracks. For this one, she added 6 new ones (except for Forever and Always) and a video disc. I usually hate when an artist launch another album with 'platinum edition' or 're-packaged' but somehow I think this one's worth it.

Especially with the videos, I love her videos :D

tho my ever-favorite would be the one from the first album, Picture to Burn,

From this album, my favorite would be, like most people do, You Belong With Me, which is the ringtone of my blackberry hahaha

Those are my top CDs for now, I think I'll do a review after I bought any of them :)

Nine West... the culprit behind my current obsession... Closing to the end of the year, everything became so irresistible... Or is it just me that's not strong enough hahaha...

Well, here's the item Nine West posted in Facebook that made me go head over heels....

Bonfire

I don't care if anyone says it's so simple. But it simply captured my attention and made me go "awh"... I know the heels are kinda high (kinda? yeah right~) but Nine West shoes are very comfortable and durable too... I only have two of them, bought on discount price, one by mom and one with my own money from internship ;) the one i bought myself was the last piece and on 70% discount, that's how I afford it.

I think the color is really nice (they have other colors too, but I love this one best), and you know, nude colors make your legs appear longer. It doesn't have too much detail but that's so me hehehehehe...

For these bonfires, they are originally USD 89, then got to USD 69, and now they're 48.99 USD. Tsk, Nine West sure knows how to play with me. Hix.

And as if these are not enough, they posted other pics earlier today about their new collection by Fred Allard in Paris.... Which ALSO caught my eye... Lookie here...

I don't know its name and can't even find it in Nine West website..! They look very nice! I've always wanted platform sandals but haven't found one for me til now... Now they have to show me this?? +____+;; Tho tbh I'm not thinking about it too much cuz I don't know the price and I prefer pretty heels than edgy platform sandals, so Bonfire wins over this one. But still, beautiesss~...

I think I have to stop talking about shoes for now, cuz there are also some things on bargain price occupying my mind :D

After confessing that I browsed Sephora.com regularly, best to just say what I've found there hehehe.... Sooo... Sephora is now holding the 'Holiday Magic' with special offers and gifts. One of the product that I think is really on bargain price right now are BeneFit Lust Dusters Trio. They're supposed to cost 18 USD each, but now they are 10 USD for THREE! That's like 44 USD off... Owh... And they look so sweettttt... I've seen the original price on other websites (such as macy's) and they do cost 18 USD each... Look, look...~

Cookies

I spent my Friday baking some cookies with a recipe from Kocchimuite, Miiko! 20 :)

In the book, Miiko was about to give Christmas gifts to her family and friends, so she made some cookies which can also be used as Christmas tree decoration. As for me, it's still a trial before making it for Christmas so I didn't put a hole for ribbon in the cake.

The recipe is very simple, you need;

100 gr unsalted butter

60 gr sugar

1 egg

1 tsp water

200 gr flour

decopen for decoration

some more flour to help with the kneading

First, divide the white and the yolk of the egg,

Mix the butter with sugar,

add egg white, mix

add flour, mix

Put it in the fridge for 30 to 60 mins

Knead and shape it, put the batch on the pan, then brush the top of the cookies with yolk

Bake it til it gets brown and ready to be decorated :)

So very easy! :)

And i love eating them too..!

Aside from the ingredients that I already have, I bought some cookie cutter and red cookie icing. I chose red cuz I know it will be really contrast with the cookies :)

Decorating with such big decopen is not so easy. Sometimes the line got too big, gotta control the pressure and length...

But don't you think they look cute? :D

They taste a tad salty but sweet around the icing. Makes a perfect pair for tea or coffee time :)

I think I might make some more later just for myself hehehe

Weekend Refill :)

This Saturday started as any other Saturday, the ones where I plan nothing or plan to sleep through. But concerning the damage that's been done to my hair. I think my hair is kinda sick :P and i need a treatment soon. That's why I'm entitled for a creambath at Roger's. Hohohoho....It went quite well and way better than my last creambath in Anata Riau Junction (which was a hair mask treatment, but well, quite the same). The last time my hair ended up lookin kinda hangin', which I hate. And that made me have to fix it myself afterwards.

But today was so nice... I picked the vanilla scent and tbh I can quite enjoy the massage tho I still have to bite my lips a bit when it feels so ticklin'.

Aside from the creambath, today I went out to refill some of my stuff. Like shower gel, lotion, facial cleanser and conditioner. Not only refilling, I decided to purchase Makarizo hair energy creambath cuz it was on bargain price... from 10000 idr to 6600 idr! hahaha decided to buy four of em :D Dunno when I'd try it but I hope anytime soon and hope it helps my hair too :)

Another highlight; I just knew that NYX cosmetics has opened in SOGO Paris Van Java. I went to Sogo to look for my Revlon Beyond Natural foundation, my shade number 220.

I've look for it in Riau Junction, BIP and also PVJ but they're all out of stock :( the lady in the Revlon counter keeps trying to convince me to purchase the 210 shade but I wasn't sure about it so I kept saying no.

Feelin' kinda desperate with the foundation, I bumped to the NYX counter and tried on some lip glosssss hehehehe... Not that I'm impulsive but... See, I usually wear Make Up Forever Glossy Full Couleur which originally belong to my Mom and I can't afford to re-purchase it if I ran out of it.

So I need something else in replacement. My sister has been using NYX glosses and I think it looks nice so I wanted to purchase one, keeping in mind that it's not really expensive (especially compared to the MUFE one :'( ) I wanted to buy the Mega Shine line but after some trying and chat with the NYX lady, I bought the sheer tube lipgloss instead.

Like the website said "has a soft brush applicator for perfect contouring", I found the brush applicator really convenient and I love the color too :) But I still wonder if it's okay to wear this to campus... I usually wear maybelline fruity jelly but some of them looks too glossy, like oily.

So so far I really love this NYX sheer gloss and thinking of purchasing another color! :)

Recently I browsed through the Sephora website quite often (Yes, that's a confession :P) and it becomes one of the 'most viewed' in my google chrome, maybe that's why I clicked randomly at it at times (ahahaha excusessss)

Closing in to the holiday season, the products that caught my eye are the ones from Philosophy. Although they also have make-up stuff but I found myself over-interested to their skin care products. Cuz they have the cutest line of them. So many different flavors! Lookie here

It has the scent and you can use it for shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath. I think it's really perfect for travelling needs.. :) But of course that's not my main reason... It's cuz they also have so many other flavorssss... Here here

These stuff sent me head over heels. I'm so curious and I've read the reviews that they smell so good but don't leave your skin smells so food-ish. So I think it's safe to give them to boys...? In replacement of giving the real food hahaha. Are boys allowed to use chocolate-scented shower gels? I guess there's no rules against that! :D

Apart from that, the name of the brand, philosophy also has some philosophy behind it which is quite a long explanation and I'm not really interested in reading last time I went to their website. But they use children pics in their ads to remind people of the simple happiness when you're a kid. How cute is that? And, maybe, just maybe, it fits me so well hahaha...

In addition to the philosophy title, each bottle, if you haven't already realized, has some writings on it. I found it special too, cuz this is what they have on their bottles...

On Vanilla creme brulee bottle, they have the recipe of the real vanilla creme brulee. You can make one if the smell is not enough for you :)That goes for every food-named products but for some of them with real philosophies, like the 'be somebody' bottles...

I found this really interesting and good for thoughts. Yes there is no such thing as being too good. Be somebody, we become greater good when we become humble in our own deeds. Sometimes we forgot about the simple things, I think having something like that written in our everyday shower gel bottles is a great idea. Like having a waterproof hallmark card! :D

I think these products are some of my favorite things in one. I love it!

Ehm, aside from the price... But it's so cute how can you resist? ^_^
