Hello, my name is...

After 3 months of hiatus (yes, I got so lazy and occupied :P) something that I considered as a final blow finally pull me back into posting a blogpost. Sadly to say, my acer 4520 has rested in peace right now. Sometime at the end of last January (after a very important occasion at home) it shut itself down. Actually, the monitor shut itself down. Apparently (this is me and Heri's prediction) the VGA card burnt out. My boyfriend/fiance (yes yes :P) bought the same laptop as mine 3 years ago, before he left for Netherlands. It was the one within our budget and we wanted to buy one because we're going to have a long distance relationship (aside from other reasons of course). Apparently its life span was only 3 years, which was only two years for his, that experienced the same problem just last year.

To make things clear, I brought my dead laptop to an Acer service center. The lady there told me that parts for my model is not produced anymore. To fix it they would have to fly my laptop to Taiwan, where it's made, which would take 1 to 3 months and even with that they couldn't guarantee it will be totally fixed. So apparently I have to let my Acer go, after moving its harddisk out and put it into external HDD.

With everything that happened with my laptop, I have no other computer at home. So getting a new one was inevitable (is this an excuse? but hey I really needed one! :P) I was feeling happy and sad at the same time, tbh. So, meet this one...

So finally I replaced my old laptop. This one hasn't got a name. And funny thing about it, earlier today I twit about name ideas for him. Initially I wanted to name him Washington... after Washington Apples, see? :P So I asked;

Any suggestion of a short nickname for something called Washington? :P

Yes, she has an HP laptop, in case you don't get what she's saying.... So i guess instead of name it BUSUK (the worst idea today yet the one made me laughed loudest, thanks to Retno) I would still name it Washington and call it... ehm... Wonwon (seriously!?) this is still open for changes!!!
